我的旅游英语日记 1
Yesterday, our school held a tour. Our students from grade four to six went to "Dongguan science and Technology Museum" and then went to "the happy world of Southern China".
We got out of the car at 8:00, singing, chat in the car, could not hide our feelings. After more than an hours "long trek", we finally arrived in Dongguan. The tour guide took us around and stroll around there. We girls were very disciplined, but those boys didnt have to say it. Ah, they were like a monkey who broke away from the rope. They skipping here and there, and they were not there by the headmaster.

The seaside resort of Qingdao extends from Tuandao in the west of Qingdao to Damaidao in the east with an overall length of 25 kilometers, including a marine area of 5 square kilometers and land area of 8.5 square kilometers.
It is one of the first National Scenic Resorts appointed by the State Council in 1982.
The scenery of the Zhanqiao Pier, Luxun Park, Little Qingdao Isle, Xiaoyu Hill, Badaguan, the seashore and the May Fourth Square are all beside the sea and constitute the famous scenic sights of Qingdao.
Red roves and green trees, sapphire sea and blue sky in the scenic resort will make you feel happy and fresh.
Zhanqiao Pier: Zhanqiao Pier, built in 1891, is the symbol of Qingdao. After several restorations, from being a simple military harbor, it is now open to tourists. The pier is 440 meters long.
There is an octagonal pagoda of distinctive Chinese style, “Huilan Pagoda” at the end of the pier. From the top, tourists can fully view the magnificent sea.
Along the shore is the beautiful Pier Park, which is a pleasant and quiet place for tourists to rest or enjoy the scenery of Little Qingdao Isle and its white tower.

It’s well known that the Yellow River is the second longest river in gh my hometown is close to her,yet I had no chance to enjoy myself at her beautiful a pity!To my great joy we were told that we would go there and have a good look at the lovely river on Sunday.

On summer holiday my parents took me to Beijing.We stayed at Huabei Hotel.On the first day,we went to the Great Wall.The Great Wall is very long and old.It has millions of bricks.Each brick is very big and heavy.Lots of people from different countries like climbing the Great Wall.We felt very tired when we climbed to the top of the Great Wall.
We also went to the Palace Museum.The Palace Museum has 9999 palaces.It has a very long history.I bought a lot of souvenirs of the Palace Museum.What nice palaces these are!I visited the Palace Museum and felt excited.If you want to know more about the Palace Museum,you can go to Beijing and have a look.
The following days,we went to the Summer Palace,Tian Tan,North Lake and Xiang Hill.I now know more about the history of China.I also like modern Beijing.The 2008 Olympic Games will be held in Beijing.
Later,I went back with my parents by train.I really enjoyed the trip to Beijing.

There is no doubt that group travel can save energy and time. People just need to hand in money, then everything will be arranged. It is so convenient and they don’t need to worry about anything. It is very suitable for the old people and staffs, because they don’t have much energy and time to make plans.
While today independent travel is more favored by the young people. They enjoy the freedom and want to appreciate the local features. They can go to any place they want and don’t need to be limited by the time. They can change their schedule if they want to see other tourist sites.
Group travel is somehow limited on all sides, so independent is more favorable. If we have time, the latter choice is perfect.

Last summer, my family and I went to Hawaii for a holiday!
We flew across the Pacific to the tiny island from Beijing. After we booked into a hotel, we rested. Our fun started the next day and lasted for two long weeks. During our time there, we ate delicious exotic food and drank numerous fruit juices. The Hawaiians are very proud of their unique food, often spiced up with slices of juicy pineapple and strings of delicious cheese.
There were also fantastic beaches right access the tiny atoll. The water was sparkling blue and the sand dunes radiated with an inviting warmth of gold. The place was wonderful and the locals were really nice; I really enjoyed my holiday.

Have you ever been to Shanghai ? I went to Shanghai last summer vacation, there were bright neon lights and skyscrapers around the city. Everything looked extremely stylish and full of energy.
On the first day, we went to China Pavilion. Its an important building. Its magnificent and unique. And then we came to the top of the Oriental Pearl. Its the landmark of Shanghai. Looking down from the top of the 258-meter tower, cars were like beetles and roads were like ribbons. There were also many delicious snacks in Shanghai, such as small steamed bun and scallion noodles. Their delicacy left me a strong aftertaste.
During the following days, we went to The Bund, Science Museum and even The Docks. Shanghai is a beautiful city! The scenery there was beautiful , fantastic at night. In the evening , when I walked around the city, I was deeply attracted by the beautiful scenery, What an amazing city! I hope to visit Shanghai next time.

Xiamen Botanical Garden, known as the Wanshi Botanical Garden,which has scenic spots such as the Morning Bell of Heaven, the Reading and Music Playing Cave, the Cloud Locking Stones, the Jade Scepter Rock and the Peace Stone. In the past decade, Xiamen has changed a lot with rapid advancing in agriculture,industry,science technology and education areas.

This week I got my job as an historian boss, and I got a great group with Sam, Nicky, May and Winnie. Last week we didn’t have homework , but this week we just have a little.
In reading we read a story called “ Brave Melissa”. It talks about a little girl who saved her dog that is twice sizes of her. And we also read a story called “ Life Saving Class” , it tells about a kid who wanted to be an lifeguard, so he went to have classes, but we don’t like the sight of blood.
In English we have learned types of sentences, they are Interrogative, Exlamatory, Peclarative and Imperative sentences. In science, we did a fun thing that we took the clay and rolled it into an ball, we made it an falt bottom and then put a starw on the top of it and we put it on our pules, it moved up and down!

This is my first day in Chiang Mai. After breakfast, we took a walk in the garden outside the hotel. Its warm here.
Then we went to a market by bus. There are lots of shops and sellers there. We bought some Thai food.
The next day, we went to visit the temple. There are some famous temples in Chiang Mai that show visitors the history and culture of Thailand. After that, we went to a gift shop, where we spent more than an hour and saw many interesting gifts.
I bought a beautiful strap for my friends trip in Chiang Mai. I look forward to visiting the city again.
