　　我的袜子又脏又臭，每回都是姥姥给洗，今天是星期六，我决定要自己洗一回袜子。

　　My socks are dirty and smelly. Grandma washes them every time. Today is Saturday. I decided to wash them myself.

　　我先到洗手间拿了一个盆，装了半盆水，接着倒入了点洗衣粉，捏着鼻子把袜子扔进盆里，然后坐在小板凳上，学着姥姥的样子认真地洗起来。

　　First I went to the bathroom and took a basin, filled half of the basin with water, then poured some washing powder, pinched my nose and threw my socks into the basin, then sat on a small bench and washed them carefully like Grandma.

　　我双手用力地搓，刚开始搓的时候，盆里冒得是灰色的泡泡。搓了一会儿，我拿出袜子看了一下，还是很脏，我只好又往盆里倒了点洗衣粉，弄得满盆都是白泡泡。我用力地搓，边搓边唱：“洗刷刷，洗刷刷……”搓得手通红通红的，终于把袜子洗得干干净净的了。

　　I rubbed my hands hard. At the beginning of rubbing, there were grey bubbles in the basin. After rubbing for a while, I took out my socks and looked at them. They were still very dirty. I had to pour some washing powder into the basin again, making it full of white bubbles. I rubbed hard and sang: "wash, wash..." The hands are red and the socks are finally washed clean.

　　通过洗袜子这件事，我明白了一个道理：做任何事，只要有信心，不放弃，就会有收获的。

　　By washing socks, I have learned a truth: to do anything, as long as you have confidence and don't give up, you will get something.
